Artlife 1974 designs and makes whole interiors: the furniture, the panelling, the gilding and the fabrics, drawn as one composition and made by hand in Istanbul. For private clients, for architects and for hotels, from the first conversation to the last cushion.

not furnished.
Fifty years of making furniture taught us that a beautiful piece is not enough on its own. The proportions of the wall it stands against, the light that falls on its gilding, the carpet under its feet and the fabric of the curtain beside it decide whether a room feels right. So we design all of it.
Meeting a need is the easy part of luxury. The rest is the unexpected: a carved detail at eye level, a leaf of gold where only the owner will see it, a wood tone chosen for the afternoon light. These are decisions made by hand, and we make them with you.
What we do
Concept and space planning
Plans, elevations and lighting worked out room by room, so that every piece has its place before it is drawn.
Bespoke furniture
Pieces designed for one room: adapted dimensions, carving, wood, gilding and fabric, approved on paper before a single cut.
Joinery and panelling
Wall panels, ceilings, doors, libraries and dressing rooms, made by the same hands as the furniture so the room reads as one.
Fabrics, gilding and finishes
Velvets and jacquards, leaf gilding, lacquers and marble chosen together on one material board and held against the wood.
Turn-key delivery
Production, finishing, export packing, installation and styling by our own team, from Istanbul to the Gulf and Europe.
For architects and designers
We produce from your drawings as readily as from ours: prototypes, samples, agreed deadlines and trade terms.

Large rooms that ask for scale: long sofas, dining tables for twenty, panelled walls and gilded ceilings.

The process

Conversation
We meet in the showroom in Istanbul or at your site, look at the plans and listen to how the rooms will be lived in.
- 02
Design
Plans, elevations and material boards; every carved element drawn by hand, every fabric held against the wood.
- 03
Approval
You approve the drawings and the samples. Price and delivery date are fixed before the first cut.

Atelier
Carving, gilding and upholstery in our own workshop, with visits and photographs at every stage.

Installation
Our team packs, ships, installs and styles the interior on site, and stays available afterwards.
